The autumn meeting decided that the prices for fishing permits 2018 will remain unchanged. That means it's sixth year at unchanged prices.
Pricing is based on certain conditions and policies fish conservation association applies.
– We make comparisons with other fiskevårdsområdens variety of fishing grounds in no way compares to Långåfisket, says Helge Jonsson, Chair in long FVOF. It is not easy to make such comparisons because the variations are significant and there are no two identical fiskevårdsområden. But we do the best we can.
– Some complain that the price is too high, then we recommend that they go there and fish
in places where it is cheaper, but is of course welcome back. Some claim that we do not recognize the "great fishing" we have and just do not get to get paid for what we offer. For them, we try to explain that the minimum requirement for our pricing is that we can cover this year's expenses.

Långå fish conservation association has set up four requirements governing the price of the permits

 High cost of operations
 Seizing voluntary, unpaid contributions and public or private funds

The overall "economy" amounts to nearly one and a half million per year. This means that each fishing license is worth three to four times as much as what the fisherman pays.

The autumn meeting also decided to “Mittåkortet” continue on an experimental 2018, but that certain adjustments should be made.
