Saturday 18 November is held the popular fly fishing fair – traction 2017 – in Uppsala and Långåfisket is the fifth year in a row. The fair is held at Galejan conference center, Saint Larsgatan 7, and progress between 10.00 and 16.00.

Fly-fishing in the fishery conservation Långå has increased sharply in recent years, says the president Helge Jonsson. The reason is simple, because Långåfisket can provide an estimate fishing, not just for fly fishermen but for all categories. Of course, it is the four noble fish, trout, char, grayling and whitefish, Långåfiskets four major, which is the most alluring attractions, but recently also pike fishing and fishing for perch increased significantly. That there is a chance to perch around 2 kg is of course a dream for many, says Helge, looking forward to seeing recurring and new fishermen.
