Sweden's first flugserie, The Oscar Ficks Hedeflug, filling 100 year.
1918 came the first dunkrokarna, fiskeflugorna, from shoemaker
Oscar Fick's hands. Flugsvärmen would grow and form
Sweden's first full flugserie. In comparison, one can count
Oscar got among the likes of Frederic M. Halford and
George Edward MacKenzie Skues, the latter as fly fishing
teacher of English chalk streams while Oscar Got
had their university in western Härjedalen, mainly Långå-Ljusnan
as its own faculty. The daughter Alma, later married Nordlund,
started at age 15 to tie Hede fly and extended the
unique series of ten custom designs, to total 34.

On the occasion of the anniversary will Långåfisket to arrange a
multiple activities around Oscar Pocket, Alma Nordlund and
Hedeflugan during the year.
