New Year's Eve, the last two fishing licenses for the year were sold 2022 in Långåfisket. During the days in between, fishing has taken up, according to tradition as it has been for centuries, and this year the fisheries management area offers core ice with good old quality!

To summarize the fishing year 2022 can only be done by each. Each experience is unique and cannot be replaced. But it is there, stored and reusable in memory and for future fishing trips.

A conclusion that the board of the fisheries conservation association makes, with experience of the Långåljusnan project, is that there are opportunities to create functioning biotopes and good sport fishing through measures in waterways that have been cleared of waterways and that have power development that have some residual flow. The conclusion is well substantiated and can be found in the final report by Per-Ola Persson, Långåfiskets quality manager, compiled. While waiting for the water judgments to be reconsidered, these are measures that can bring good results for fish and thus for fishermen.

Now in the new year, an investment in free fishing and culture begins at Långå Skans. An agreement has been signed with the village community in Långå and the sport fishermen are involved and support the effort. We are thus opening up a new feature in Långåfisket!
